RADAR is the first alternative lifestyle line for women in the Philippines
Its statement shirts, button-downs, bottoms and accessories break gender conventions in fashion, offering the wider market an unconventional and witty alternative in clothing without losing their style.
The concept for Radar began in 2005 when business partners, Rebie P. Ramoso and Kristine S. Calleja, realized that fashion still followed gender conventions - clothes designed for women were almost always made feminine, leaving them with limited choices.
As a response, the pair introduced in 2006 an unconventional clothing line for women, which they called Radar, making reference to recognizing and celebrating others' identity and one's own.
In 2008, Radar introduced its clothing line to a wider market by opening a store at The Podium. Later on, it expanded its line to include menswear and accessories, offering a vibrant and flattering option to standard men's clothing.
The company continues to expand its business, as it sees the demand of its market, hoping to serve a broader clientele.
